Advantages of a funeral plan
There are many types of insurance: life insurance, accident insurance, disability insurance and much more. However, making arrangements for one’s own funeral is often overlooked – even though it is so important and offers significant benefits.
By taking out a funeral plan, you take the burden off your loved ones in two ways: you relieve them of financial worries and, above all, give them the space they need to grieve during the difficult time following your passing. A funeral plan is well worth it.
We’d be happy to provide you with further information during a no-obligation consultation. Please get in touch with us, the LESCH Funeral Home in Hanover, Sarstedt or Seelze. We look forward to seeing you.
How does a Funeral provision off?
Funeral costs can be covered, for example, by funeral insurance or a funeral trust. With a trust arrangement, the agreed sum is managed in accordance with the relevant terms of the contract and earmarked specifically for the future funeral.
Appropriate funeral provisions that are clearly earmarked for that specific purpose may be protected should the person subsequently become in need of social assistance. Whether this is the case, and to what extent, depends on the form of provision and an assessment of the individual case.
